Visiting Jaipur is Always a Pleasure: Devanggana Chauhan

Devanggana Chauhan, who has been part of shows like Drive with Nano (season 3), which she won, as well as Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii, Sapnon Ki Chhalaang, and Saavi ki Savaari, recently visited Jaipur and shared her thoughts: “Visiting Jaipur is always a pleasure. I have explored many places in Jaipur and spent several years living there. But I make sure that whenever I visit, I always go to the Govind Devji Temple.”

She admires Rajasthan for its rich culture and vibrant colors. “Every small festival is celebrated with so much energy, whether it’s Teej, Gangaur, or even Makar Sankranti, which is huge. I’ll be visiting Jaipur again in 2025,” she shared.

She also spoke about her love for Rajasthani cuisine, saying, “My taste buds feel at home in Rajasthan. I love kadhi kachori, masala bati with churma, and the lehsun chutney is delicious,” she added.

Devanggana noted the changes Jaipur has undergone over time. “Every time I go, there’s a new destination to visit. People from around the world come for weddings and shoots because of its beautiful culture,” she said.

“The entire ambiance is amazing. When we talk about royalty, it’s Rajasthan. You can explore the palaces and experience destination weddings here. Many production houses also have studios in the city,” she added.

She expressed her fondness for the people of Jaipur and the lifestyle there. “Living in a metropolitan city now, I don’t even know my neighbors, and life moves fast. But Jaipur is different—everyone knows each other. You meet people in every lane. I always make it a point to visit Nahargarh. It’s beautiful—you can see the whole city, and during Makar Sankranti, the sight of kites and lanterns is breathtaking. It’s a visual treat for me,” she said.

“Staying in Jaipur also gives you a royal feeling because of its heritage and history. From the food to the activities, it’s a city that’s cultured yet modern. There’s always something happening here,” she concluded.
