Vasudha teaches Orry how to be ‘Full-On Desi’ in a fun collaboration; Orry calls Vasudha “OG Liver”

As Zee TV prepares to unveil Vasudha, the channel has teamed up with Orry to introduce the show’s lead character, Vasu, in a playful and engaging social media video. The clip, which went live yesterday on Orry’s and Zee TV’s Instagram pages, captures Vasu’s essence perfectly—a cheerful, spontaneous, desi girl with a heart of gold, but far from perfect when it comes to discipline.

In the video, Orry is seen brainstorming his next big project with his ‘minions’ when Vasu interrupts by noisily slurping tea from a saucer, immediately piquing his interest. This sparks an idea in Orry, leading him to ask Vasu for help in becoming “desi-er.” With her characteristic enthusiasm, Vasu readily agrees, promising to transform him “Dil se!” Amusing captions themed as ‘DictionORRY’ pop up at the bottom of the screen almost like thought bubbles for Orry, adding to the light-hearted fun!

The video is a playful fusion of two contrasting personalities—Orry’s polished, cosmopolitan vibe meets Vasu’s traditional desi, carefree charm. It’s this dynamic contrast that makes the collaboration stand out, giving audiences a sneak peek into Vasu’s vivacious and relatable personality ahead of the show’s premiere.
Ending on a high note, Vasu reveals her mission: to win a place in both the house and the heart of the boss lady, the formidable matriarch – Chandrika Singh Chauhan, starting tonight on Zee TV.

Reflecting on the experience, Orry shares, “It’s been a refreshing experience collaborating with Zee TV for the first time. Honestly, I’ve learned how to be full-on desi, thanks to my girl Vasudha. We’re poles apart as personality types, so I wasn’t initially sure how we’d vibe, but we had the best time shooting together. Vasudha is all heart and super spontaneous. She just dives into action before she thinks, so being around her felt like I’m on this rollercoaster ride of sorts. Can’t wait for everyone to see what we cooked up!”

Starting tonight, tune in to Zee TV from Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM to follow Vasudha’s journey!
