Srman Jain Recalls His NCC Days: ‘Leading NCC Inspired Me to Join the Army’

Actor Srman Jain, recently seen directing for John Abraham and Sanjeeda Sheikh, shared his heartfelt Republic Day memories, which are deeply rooted in his time as a senior cadate-sergeant in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) during his school days. Recalling those moments, Srman said, “I was in NCC and was a senior candidate-sargan, heading the whole NCC of my school. For me, Republic Day was very exciting. It was one of the most thrilling days because we had rallies in school and participated in various NCC activities. That was also the time I wanted to join the army because I used to lead, attend army camps, and felt very inspired by them.”

Srman’s experiences in NCC shaped his perspective on discipline, leadership, and patriotism. “Republic Day was more than just a celebration for me. It was a day that reminded me of my love for the armed forces and the values they stand for—discipline, courage, and dedication to the nation. Those memories still hold a very special place in my heart,” he added.

Speaking about the significance of Republic Day in today’s time, Srman believes it’s a day to honor the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom and democracy. “For me, it’s a celebration of our democracy and a reminder of the sacrifices made to give us the freedom we enjoy today. It’s a time to honor the Constitution and work towards being responsible citizens, ensuring that we uphold the values it represents.”

On the work front, Srman is excited about his upcoming projects, which aim to showcase his versatility and dedication as an actor. With his love for storytelling and deep connection to the spirit of patriotism, Srman hopes to inspire his fans through his work and keep contributing meaningfully to the entertainment industry.
