The Mumbai Court denies bail to Rakhi Sawant in a case filed by Adil Khan Durrani, accusing her of publishing and transmitting sexually explicit material.

An F.I.R came to be registered with Amboli Police Station as per the complaint received from Rakhi’s Husband Adil Khan Durrani for not just transmitting but also publishing the private picture of Adil and the couple’s intimate and obscene media gears on various media platforms. Adil Khan Durrani’s Adv Suhail Shariff, says “The court has contemplated all the submissions and after hearing both the sides at length by giving due consideration to facts and seriousness of the offence rejected the pre-arrest bail”

Rakhi has committed analogous offence against one Ms. Sherlyn Chopra, and for the same bearing in mind the seriousness of the offence the same court had rejected her first ABA then. “In her current Pre-arrest bail application Rakhi justifying her crime submitted, she did the same “driven by the necessity to protect her reputation and image in the eyes of public” as a “ defensive measure”, which confirms that she has committed the offence ” Adv. Shariff added.
