Parineeta Borthakur opens up about being part of Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya : Shiv Shakti

Actress Parineeta Borthakur, who plays the role of Mandira Kashyap, in Prateek Sharma’s show Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya : Shiv Shakti, says that people are loving her character. However, she adds that she cannot relate much to her.

“The response is good because people who know me or who understand that I’m acting are appreciating me and I am getting a lot of hate messages and comments on my social media, which I take as a compliment,” she says.

She adds, “I’m an extremely sensitive person. I don’t relate to Mandira at all. Not even 0.01%”

Meanwhile, she loves shooting for the show. “Interesting incidents happen every day, we keep thinking we wish we had someone to shoot our bloopers. It’s hilarious,” she says.

Talking about being a TV actor, she adds, “Yes, it can get hectic as you are working almost every day. You hardly get time to exercise as well. However, TV has evolved and you see a lot of varieties these days. The role that I play here is so interesting. It’s an out and out negative role. I’m someone who doesn’t even pluck flowers, here Mandira crushes flowers, or house help’s hand. Whereas in reality, my house staff love me. They tell me that if they didn’t know me they would have hated me as Mandira.”
