Bigg Boss 19 House Tour : The much-anticipated Bigg Boss 19 house is finally here, but unlike previous seasons, the new set seems to be missing that wow factor. This time, the makers have gone with a Cabin in the Woods theme — a blend of colors, chaos, and a touch of calm. Yet, despite the effort, the design feels monotonous and far from the grandeur audiences expect.

For years, set designers Omung Kumar and Vineeta Garud have raised the bar with larger-than-life concepts. However, stepping into this year’s house, one can’t help but feel underwhelmed. From an overuse of animal motifs to a dull color palette, the house looks disconnected, with only one room faintly resonating with the earlier teased idea of democracy.

One major change — there’s no jail this season. Instead, contestants will have to navigate multiple secret doors scattered across the house. While this could add to the game’s suspense, the overall aesthetic doesn’t quite match the energy Bigg Boss fans are used to.

Abhishek Mukherjee, the show’s production head, explained the thought process behind this year’s setup. “We haven’t stuck to a rigid theme this season. In previous years, we experimented with different themes, but they usually lost relevance after the first week or two. So, this time, we’ve tried to bring back the OG Bigg Boss vibe with a simple log-house structure. It’s basic, but it sets the stage for the real drama — the contestants.”

While Bigg Boss 19 continues to generate buzz with its star-studded contestant list and Salman Khan’s hosting, the house itself might not make it to the show’s top design highlights over the years. At best, it’s functional — leaving all the fireworks to the players inside.
