Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi has been entertaining audiences for the past two years with its intriguing storyline and the ups and downs in the lives of Lakshmi (Aishwarya Khare) and Rishi (Rohit Suchanti). In the recent episodes, viewers watched how the show took a 7-year leap where Lakshmi is seen living in a village with her daughter, Parvati, portrayed by Trisha Sarda and Rishi lives in Mumbai with his son Rohan, portrayed by Shreyansh Kaurav.
While the actors get the opportunity to play multiple roles in their careers, Rohit Suchanti is ecstatic to play the role of a father for the very first time on screen. Until now, he was playing the role of an ideal husband and an ideal son, but now he has turned into this responsible father, whose life revolves around his son.
Rohit said, “As an actor, I love how my profession allows me to play multiple roles, it helps me understand every emotion and character in its own unique way. The upcoming storyline is a rollercoaster ride of emotions and has some immense drama that shows a deep bond between a son and a father. My on-screen son- Shreyansh is a great actor, and even though we have just started shooting, we have bonded really well. I am genuinely enjoying this upgrade of my character who is more mature and responsible towards life because of his son. Playing a father is not easy, especially when you aren’t one in real life. To get into this version of my role, I had to change my body language, attire, and mainly see things from a totally new perspective. I hope the audience enjoys the ongoing as well as upcoming drama in the show and continues to shower their love on us like they always do.”
Well, while Rohit is all set for this new journey of Rishi, it will be interesting for the viewers to watch if Rishi and Lakshmi’s paths will cross each other after 7 years. Will Rishi ever find out about his daughter?
