She will soon be seen in the film Tarini which is also co-produced. The actress says that there are some movies that always stay special for you, and, for her, these are the Harry Potter series. She says that films have always transported her to a different world.
“Films have always been a part of my childhood. They are definitely a great source of entertainment. I’ve always been interested in movies, ever since I was a kid. I think what attracted me to films was the way they can transport you to different worlds and make you feel all sorts of emotions. It’s like going on an adventure without leaving your seat!” she says.
She adds, “The Harry Potter series holds a special place in my heart as the film that, while not the first I watched, it remains my all-time favourite. It provided me with a truly magical experience that resonated deeply. The enchanting world, rich characters, and captivating narrative sparked within me a profound love for storytelling through movies. The series, with its intricate plot and imaginative elements, inspired me to appreciate the art of storytelling and kindled a passion for crafting narratives that transport audiences into enchanting realms.”
Talking about other films that have inspired her, she says, “There have been a few films that really touched my core and influenced my personality, but if I had to choose one, it has to be ‘The pursuit of happiness’. The movie teaches us the importance of following your dreams. It showcases the sheer beauty of resilience, unwavering determination, and the strength of a father’s love. The movie reminds us to keep pursuing our dreams no matter how tough life gets.”
Meanwhile, talking about working on different platforms in films, she adds, “When it comes to the medium that attracts me the most, I would say films. There’s something about the big screen and the cinematic experience that captivates me. But I also appreciate the intimacy of theatre and the accessibility of OTT platforms. Each medium has its own unique charm.”
It’s important to be able to take feedback here, she says, “Absolutely, acknowledging and embracing constructive criticism is vital in the entertainment industry. While it may not always be easy, viewing negative feedback as an opportunity for growth and improvement is crucial. I believe treating it as a chance to learn and evolve as an artist allows one to refine their skills and enhance their craft. This mindset not only fosters personal development but also demonstrates resilience and a commitment to continuous progress within the dynamic and competitive world of entertainment.”
