Deep down, I believe most people are kind: Anupama Solanki

On the occasion of World Kindness Day, which is observed on November 13, Anupama Solanki, who was last seen in the show Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai, said, “I don’t think kindness is decreasing; it’s just that people are more distracted now. With busy lives, social media, and constant stress, many forget to pause and show kindness.”

“But deep down, I believe most people are kind. Sometimes, they just need a reminder to express it. The fast-paced world has made us focus more on personal achievements than on helping others,” she added.

She believes that a simple smile or a genuine compliment can make someone’s day better and added, “We often forget how powerful these small gestures are. Listening to someone when they need to talk is another act of kindness that’s often overlooked. Just being present and showing someone they matter can mean the world to them.”

Anupama also believes that whether you are rich or famous or not, it’s important to stay grounded. “I remind myself that I’m human too. I stay grounded by spending time with family and close friends who know the real me. To show kindness to myself, I take breaks when needed, meditate, and avoid being too hard on myself. Self-care is so important because when I feel good, I can spread positivity to others,” she said.
